Wynyard - Tasmania
Wynyard is a lovely, relaxed seaside town located at the mouth of the Inglis River. It is popular for beach activities and fishing. It is surrounded by rich, fertile farmland. To the North of Wynyard is the magnificent plateau of Table Cape. A flat-topped volcanic plug rises 180 metres above the sea, where you will find the beautiful tulip farm.
Wynyard is located on the Northwestern Coast of Tasmania, sixty kilometres West of Devonport and one hundred sixty-five kilometres from Launceston.
At Table Cape Tulip Farm, you can wander through hectares of beautiful coloured tulips every Spring.
The Table Cape Lighthouse was completed in 1888, and it is still used today. Book a tour and climb up the spiral staircase to enjoy stunning views over the Cape and the coast.
At the Visitor Centre, you will discover the Wonders of Wynyard, a world-class Veteran Car Collection. The oldest Ford in the world is on display, the Model A, manufactured in 1903.
The fantastic sandstone cliffs at Fossil Bluff are over 23 million years old, and the oldest fossil marsupial was discovered here in the mid-nineteenth century.
A short drive from Wynyard, you can explore Guide Falls, Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, Boat Harbour Beach and Rocky Cape National Park.

Guide Falls is a Lovely Waterfall that is very easy to access and is located near Wynyard and Burnie in Tasmania. The Guide River cascades 25 metres over an impressive basalt rock face, creating Guide Falls.
An amazing 11-hectare private garden located in Burnie, it has more than 24,000 varieties of rhododendrons and other flowering plants from around the world.
An absolutely stunning and unspoilt beach on the north coast of Tasmania. The small village is perched on the rolling green hills overlooking the crescent-shaped white sandy beach.
