Westmorland Falls
Westmorland Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Mole Creek Karst Conservation Area near Deloraine.
Unspoiled rainforest surrounds the magnificent, tall cascade of Westmorland Falls; there are also a series of smaller waterfalls in the surrounding area.
Walking Track 3.5 Km Return - 2 Hours - Grade 3
The walking track heads southwest from the parking area and is undulating and steep in some sections; it can also be muddy after rain.
Wander through the unspoilt rainforest with tall eucalypts, beautiful ferns, mossy rocks and colourful fungi along the track.
Approximately halfway along the track, you will see a plastic tub with a logbook, to which you can write a comment if you like.
Continue along the track, and you will come to a bridge over the river. At this stage, you are nearly at the falls. After another short uphill section of the track, you will reach the viewing area overlooking Westmorland Falls.
Stone steps descend to the base of the falls, and if you look carefully, you may see fossilised shells in the rock formations.
