Steavenson Falls
Steavenson Falls is located near Marysville in the Yarra Valley in Victoria. It is one of Victoria's tallest waterfalls, with five cascades flowing 84 metres through the native forest-covered mountains.
It is an impressive waterfall and can be enjoyed by day or night as floodlights light up the falls from dusk until 11.00 pm each night.
The Walk - 700 metres return - 20 minutes - Easy
To reach the falls, walk 350 metres from the car park along a wide, compacted gravel path that is well-lit in the evening.
A viewing platform spans the river, providing a great vantage point for taking photographs.
You can also wander along the Tree Fern Gully Trail, a scenic 3.4-kilometre one-way walk from Marysville to the base of Steavenson Falls.

Directions to Steavenson Falls
From Melbourne, take the Maroondah Highway past the eastern suburbs, through some incredibly tall Mountain Ash forests, and up over the Black Spur.
Turn off at Marysville Road and head 10 kilometres to Marysville. From Marysville, follow the signs to the falls along Pack Street and then Falls Road. The falls are 4 kilometres from Marysville.
