Russell Falls
Russell Falls is located in the Mount Field National Park and is one of Tasmania's most popular and photographed Waterfalls. When you see this impressive waterfall, you will understand why.
Russell Falls has two distinct tiers and is formed as Russell Falls Creek cascades over horizontal marine Permian siltstone, dropping 54 metres down the vertical sandstone layers.
At night, glow worms can be seen in the bushes along the track to the falls.
Russell Falls is one of the 60 Great Short Walks of Tasmania
The Walk - 1.4 Kilometres Return - 25 Minutes - Grade 1
