Redwater Creek Falls ~ Tasmania.

Redwater Creek Falls

Redwater Creek Falls are two lovely small waterfalls on Redwater Creek between Railton and Sheffield. They are seasonal and best seen after heavy rains in the area.

There are also some great small caves to explore in the hills behind the waterfalls.

The Walk - 1.3 Kilometres - 30 Minutes - Grade 2

The walk to Redwater Creek Falls is along a 4WD Track on the Tasmanian Trail. It is relatively flat but can be a little muddy; several signs point towards the falls along the way.

After walking about a kilometre, you will see a sign and a gate on the right-hand side of the track. Walk through the gate, and you will see the Redwater Creek Falls; there is another track to a lower level of the waterfalls.

You can then cross the creek and head up the hill, where you will discover some small caves to explore.

This is a lovely leisurely walk that the whole family will enjoy.
