Updated: May 3

Preston Falls ~ Tasmania.

Preston Falls

Preston Falls is a lovely waterfall formed where Preston Creek plunges 25 metres into a deep gorge. There is a small car parking area near the walkway to Preston Falls.

You then walk down approximately 200 metres along the well-constructed path and stairs through the Blackwood forest and across Preston Creek until you reach the viewing platform.

The enclosed viewing platform is situated on the top of the cliff face, providing excellent views of the gorge below and the waterfall.

Directions to Preston Falls

Preston Falls is located approximately 25 kilometres south of Ulverstone. Drive along Lovett Street (B17) from Ulverstone for 2.7 kilometres, then take a slight right onto Preston Road (B17).

Continue along Preston Road, then turn right onto Raymond Road (C127). After 350 metres, you will see the sign to Preston Falls and the car parking area.
