Otway Fly Treetop Adventures


The Otway Fly Treetop Adventures is located in the Otway Ranges. The Treetop Walk is a two-kilometre walk through the rainforest and along the steel walkway under the treetop canopy, and it takes about an hour.


As you wander along the 30-metre-high elevated walkways, you can enjoy stunning views from the rainforest floor into the towering treetops.


Climb the 47-metre-tall Spiral Tower for more amazing views, then walk along the cantilever, which sways in the breeze. Excellent information boards with exciting facts about the rainforest and its surroundings are located along the walk.

The Walk - 1.9 Kilometres - 1 Hour - Moderate


Purchase your tickets at the Visitor Centre and Cafe, approximately 300 metres from the large carpark.


Once you have purchased your tickets for the treetop walk, you wander along a downhill path for about a kilometre through the cool temperate rainforest to reach the canopy walk.


As you walk along the 600-metre full-enclosed steel walkway, you are rewarded with beautiful views of the forest floor and the towering tree tops. Climb the 200 steps up the 45-metre-high lookout tower for even more amazing views.


After descending from the tower lookout, you can walk out to the cantilever; the 24-metre cantilever section can hold 28 tonnes, equivalent to the weight of 14 elephants.


The walk finishes by wandering past the lovely fern-lined Young's creek, then back up to the Visitor Centre.


The Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, when it was constructed in 2003, was the world’s longest and highest tree top walk.
