O'Gradys Falls
O'Gradys Falls is located about halfway up Mount Wellington in Hobart, Tasmania. There are several walking tracks to get to O'Gradys Falls, so we chose to park at the first car park we saw on the right-hand side as we drove up Pinnacle Road at Fern Gully.
We then walked along the Bracken Lane Fire trail to the O'Gradys Falls track, which is signposted. The walk is through open bushland and is relatively flat and easy to walk along. It would be suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The walk took approximately 40 minutes to return.
O'Gradys Falls is 450 metres above sea level, and the cool, clear water cascades over the falls and flows into Hobart Rivulet, under the city and then into the Derwent River.
There is a lovely little bridge over the rivulet where you can view and photograph O'Gradys Falls.
