Melba Gully

Melba Gully is one of the wettest places in Victoria, and the dense cool climate rainforest has stunning Myrtle Beech, Blackwood and Tree Ferns and a moss-covered forest floor. It is home to a variety of wildlife and birds.

Learn more about the forest on the information boards and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

The Walk -1.5 Kilometre Circuit - 35 Minutes - Moderate

This walk starts from the Melba Gully Carpark, where information boards about the walk and the forest are posted. The track begins relatively flat and is a mix of gravel tracks and several small bridges until you reach Anne's Cascades.

Sit on the bench, relax, and enjoy this lovely little cascade before you continue up several steps and wander through the stunning ferns, towering trees and mossy forest. You will also see a selection of fungi along the track, then continue along the track, which descends steeply to the carpark.

Notes:

No dogs are allowed as it is a National Park.
