Huon Pine Walk
The Huon Pine Walk is a short wander through the forest along the Pieman River. It starts in Corinna, has recently been upgraded, and is now accessible by wheelchairs.
The Huon Pine Walk has several interpretive boards about the important local flora and can be completed in 20 minutes.

The Walk - 600 metres, 20 Minutes, Grade 1
This short walk starts near the boat ramp at Corinna and meanders along a wooden boardwalk through the pristine rainforest.
At the end of the walk, you will reach a viewing platform, where you will see a lovely old Huon pine hanging over the Pieman River.
The vegetation along the Pieman River is reflected beautifully in the calm, dark waters.
There are several information boards along the walk with information about the trees and ferns you will see.
Directions to Corinna
Corinna is approximately 90 kilometres from Strahan on the West Coast of Tasmania.
From Strahan, head north on Andrew Street (B27) towards Gaffney Street. Follow the B27 for 41.9 kilometres, then turn left onto Main Street (C249).
Continue along the C249 for 37.4 kilometres, then turn left onto Corinna Road (C249). Travel along the Corinna Road for 12.3 kilometres until you reach the "Fatman Barge".
Four kilometres of this road is unsealed but suitable for a 2 WD vehicle. Take the ferry across the Pieman River and hire a Kayak, or take the Sweetwater Cruise to Lovers Falls.
