Strathalbyn - South Australia

Strathalbyn is a charming historic town located 55 kilometres south of Adelaide. This picturesque heritage town has cafes, bakeries, traditional hotels and wonderful shops to browse in. It is surrounded by beautiful parklands and gardens along the River Angas.


There is a walking trail along the river, stunning gardens picnic tables and grassy areas to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the town.



On the historic High Street, you can browse in a wonderful selection of antique shops, see the Ken Blake Memorial Sculpture and explore Gilbert’s Motor Museum.



Wander along the town centre heritage trail, and you will see many renovated historic buildings including the stunning St Andrews Uniting Church built in 1844.
