Evercreech Falls ~ Tasmania.

Evercreech Falls

Evercreech Forest Reserve is a lovely nature reserve located in Northern Tasmania.

There are two wonderful short walks here: the "White Knights" walk to see the majestic 90-metre-high white gum trees and the wander to the lovely Evercreech Falls.

There are picnic tables, toilets, a shelter shed and barbecues in the shady forest alongside the river.

The Walk - 2.1 kilometres - 40 Minutes - Grade 2

The walk is along an undulating track along the edge of the Evercreech Rivulet through a beautiful thick forest. Evercreech Falls is a small waterfall that drops approximately 5 minutes down the rocks into the river below.

There are two ways to get to the falls and back.

Option 1 - Start at the bridge opposite the start of the "White Knights" walk, follow the track and the yellow markers until you reach the falls, and then return the same way.

Option 2—Start at the car parking area and follow the track to the waterfall. On this track, you will need to cross the Evercreech River, which can be slippery. There is a rope across the river to help you cross.

Directions to Evercreech Forest Reserve

From St Marys, head towards Fingal on the Esk Highway (A4). Turn onto Mathinna Road (B43) at Fingal and continue until Evercreech Road.

Then turn right onto Evercreech Road and follow this for 14 kilometres until you reach the Evercreech Forest Reserve Parking area. This road is unsealed but suitable for 2WD Vehicles and drive-to conditions.
