Boat Harbour Beach - Tasmania
Boat Harbour Beach is absolutely stunning and is the most beautiful unspoilt beach on the north coast of Tasmania.
The small village is perched on the rolling green hills overlooking the crescent-shaped white sandy beach with rocky headlands on either side.
The ocean is a beautiful aquamarine blue, and the beach, due to its sheltered location, is perfect for swimming.
Boat Harbour Beach is famous for its fine white sands, which have been weathered from the quartzite rocks common along this coastline section.
Directions to Boat Harbour Beach
Boat Harbour Beach is 14.5 kilometres from Wynyard. From Goldie Street in Wynyard, turn left onto York Street, then take the third exit at the roundabout onto the Bass Highway (A2) Travel along the Bass Highway for 9.3 kilometres, then turn right onto Port Road (C232). Then turn left onto Cummings Street, and you will arrive at Boat Harbour Beach.
