Albury to Echuca Road Trip
During our recent Albury to Echuca Road Trip in our Motorhome, we explored Albury, Rutherglen, Corowa, Yarrawonga, Cobram, Tocumwal, Numurkah and Echuca.
We started our road trip from Albury in NSW, which is approximately 550 kilometres from Sydney and 320 kilometres from Melbourne.Â

Muscat Glazed Ribs
There’s nothing better than slow-cooked ribs by the river, and this recipe takes it up a notch with Rutherglen Muscat. Sweet, sticky and smoky pork ribs cooked in the Weber and served with potato with sour cream & chives and coleslaw.

The Willows Reserve - VIC
The Willows Reserve is a lovely camping spot along the Murray River near Wahgungah in Victoria. It is located at the end of Short Street and is only 600 metres from Wahgunyah. It is a popular destination for camping, swimming, fishing, and just relaxing by the river.

Explore Yarrawonga
Yarrawonga is a vibrant holiday town on the banks of Lake Mulwala in north-east Victoria. It is located 280 kilometres from Melbourne.Â
Yarrawonga is known for its sunshine, water sports, and relaxed country atmosphere. It also has interesting heritage buildings, great cafes and outdoor recreational areas.

Explore Cobram
Cobram is a lovely town on the banks of the Murray River in northern Victoria. It is surrounded by stone fruit orchards and dairy farms, and is actually the largest stone fruit-producing region in Australia.
Cobram is located 261 kilometres north of Melbourne, and is a popular destination for holidays and day trips.

Explore Tocumwal
Tocumwal is a lovely little town on the banks of the Murray River, in New South Wales. It is located 681 kilometres south-west of Sydney and 270 kilometres north of Melbourne. Tocumwal has a big cod, lovely cafes, heritage buildings and fascinating museums.

Tocumwal Town Beach - NSW
Tocumwal Town Beach Campground is a great camping spot along the Murray River in New South Wales. It is only 800 metres from Tocumwal and is a popular destination for camping, swimming, fishing, and just relaxing by the river.

Lemonade Scones
Lemonade scones cooked in the Weber are an easy camping treat, and they only need a few ingredients.
To make the scones, you need 3 cups of flour, 1 cup of lemonade and 1 cup of cream.

Explore Numurkah
Numurkah is a small country town on Broken Creek. It is located on the Goulburn Valley Highway, 227 kilometres north of Melbourne and 37 kilometres from Shepparton. It has lovely parks and gardens, heritage buildings, and great cafes.
